News for TITASGAS
The company has informed that the Board of Directors of the company has decided/approved, in line with the gas sector re-structuring programme of Government of Bangladesh (GOB), the proposal of sale/transfer of the assets of Brahmanbaria-Ashuganj unit to Bakhrabad Gas Systems Limited at a price of Tk. 1,207.45 crore to be settled by Cash/Share/Loan/any combination or by adjustment through reduction of paid-up capital held by GOB, subject to the approval of shareholders including GOB/Petrobangla, by passing special resolution at EGM to be held on 27 November, 2010. The company has not informed the Venue, time and record date of the EGM.
